I have the same saw, and I too agree. take it back while you can.
If you keep it, it should be lubricated from the factory just fine.
You are going to find that the blade tracking issue is fixed, or at least mine was.
I have had it since 2013.
But the fence is a real POS.
I got lucky this last summer. And while contemplating ditching the saw at a loss and buying better. I found a Biesemeyer fence for it for $140.
I plan on writing about the upgrades here in the next week or so.
