Bellingham is a bit of a stretch for me – I’m literally in the city of Seattle. I purchased a Grizzly band saw used (a 1019Z) from a local couple. Not a bad saw, but has these flaws:

1. Requires a non-standard size blade (either have custom made or buy direct from Grizzly).
2. The cast iron fence wasn’t cast at 90 degrees to the table mounting rail.
3. The table itself isn’t parallel to the base. Looking at the construction, I cannot see how this could have been caused by the owner and rather suspect it was a manufacturing defect.

So in conclusion, I’d prefer to steer clear of the lower end of the quality spectrum.
