You and I are cut out of the same cloth MrRon. I bought most of the machines in my shop from the lathe 1950s through the 1970s and they were used machines when I purchased them. All are light industrial types, Delta and Walker-Turner, etc. And all are kept in “like new” condition, cleaned and lubricated periodically, and operate beautifully, some being 75 years old (WW-2 vintage).

By the way, I follow your posts and would love to know if you live anywhere close to me. I like on the north side of Atlanta, GA.
