For what its worth, my “rule of thumb” for buying used machinery (most of my shop is previously used machines) is if a used machine is in tip top almost like new condition, it is value is 1/2 of the price of a new equivalent machine. From there the worth goes downward according to the wear and tear, rust, and problems.
