Serial number dates that to 1957. Radial arm saws in general got a bad rap due mostly to the influx of the cheap Emerson saws sold by Sears under the Craftsman badge… however the Delta and DeWalt saws were outstanding machines, and the turret arm design is a desirable feature. Unfortunately, the 900 is only a 9” saw, so it’s a little limited in capacity. It does look to be in pretty good shape, is complete and has all of it’s original knobs, but is missing the anti-kickback pawls on the front of the guard. I don’t think the table is original either :)

Given it’s age and condition, it would most likely need some work to get it into a daily user… something that a lot of people would rather not do. Restored, it could fetch quite a bit. If you just want it gone, I’d say an initial asking price of $250-$300 would be reasonable, and you could negotiate down from there. You could most likely get more, but it may take a while for the right buyer to show up.

Cheers,
Brad
