Thanks guys! It s quite a bit smaller than I d been looking for, but a buddy convinced me to start with a smaller lathe, and get used to catches, etc. there rather than starting out on something big that will throw things across the room. And at any rate, both the headstock and tailstock on this one have a Morse Taper #2 (with a 1×8 thread on the headstock), so ALL the accessories that came along with this one should transfer to a larger lathe easily if/when I m ready.

Woodbutcher – that s more the size I had in mind – I was looking for at least 12” swing for bowls and such. But this one should keep me happy for quite some time I imagine :)
