I would want the largest saw, assuming
it was of reasonable quality. My preference
doesn’t have so much to do with resaw
capacity as the ability to run wide blades
and the throat capacity to do things like
cut notches in panel corners. An 18”
or larger saw is a real convenience that
way and in working with solid wood can
largely supplant the table saw. Wider
blades track better as they lose sharpness
and can be relied upon to cut straight with
minimal hassle.
