I disagree about the cookies being worthless. I have several maple cookies that are 42” diameter and yes they have one large crack in them, but they make great coffee tables. You can take a saw and make a cut right now from the edge to the center right now while they are green and the cookie will only open up that one cut as opposed to cracking in several pieces. My cookies were cut about 3”-4” and they end up 2.5”-3” after drying and flattening.
