I just finished 2 small bowls that were green when turned. I put them in a brown paper grocery bag and filled it with shavings. No anchorseal. Taped the bag shut and wrote the date and species .

They sat on a shelf in the basement about 2 and 1/2 years. They warped but didn’t crack. They were turned again and finished without a problem.

I made sure to leave marks to locate it between centers to dry turn. Big bowls could be totally different. I don’t do big bowls and I’m not in a hurry.
