That’s not a terrible idea brad. I do have the gear to pick up and clear out most of it I’d say. We have a fire pit here on the orchard so the small stuff wouldn’t be a problem to dispose of, if I could get it under a tarp for the drive or something.

It looks a bit plunky in the photos, there might be some good wood but probably a lot of rotted crap too. Don’t see a chainsawed stump, I wonder if it’s rotted out and come down on its own.

I’ll leave it I think… Will keep an eye out, I don’t see this kind of thing come up all that often here in NZ, lots of hungry log fires in this country, that’s the only reason I considered it. Lots of companies who will remove a tree for free for the firewood or lumber in exchange too so it’s a tough market for hobbyists.
