Not sure what GF wb poly “stain” is, never heard of it. If it is GF wb poly, it will work well for blotch control. You will need to test for the correct dilution. I’d start 1:1. Soak the wood well for several minutes then wipe off. Here is some blotch control info. Prefer to spray alcohol based dyes, but I prefer not to use them.
