My Grandfather (a professional cabinetmaker) had a saw identical to the first one. Other than replacing the motor (as noted) it is STILL in use three generations later, by my oldest brother. Brother # 2 liked it so much, he bought one just like it. BUT, I agree with that saw #3 would be the one to go after if it’s still available. If not, Saw #1 would be the next candidate. (Not to sound too much like Monte Hall on “Let’s Make A Deal”
