I just got a website today. It's up and running as of 10AM today. It shows a lot of the stuff I do in wood turning, and also shows the tools I invented. www.woodturnerstools.com Check it out and please give me some feedback to make it better. You can do that on the contact page in the comment box. You'll probably have to copy and paste the link. It's not highlited on my computer. .............. Jerry (in Tucson)
Thanks Mark, and others who went there. Thanks Brad. I don't know how you make it look so simple, but you do. I made a correction in the domain thing last night should make link work better. It's still a work in progress. I'll have a lot more text and even some detailed instruction on how to use my tools….. Jerry (in Tucson)
Thanks for the laugh, Brad. I like what you did. The picture you so meticulously transferred is my pride and joy look. It captures my soul perfectly. (oops, i used the word perfect)
It was taken early morning back in April, 2004 in Fredericksburg, Texas, at the first Knappin held there. I had to put in my Bubba Teeth, because that's me, and I was finally meeting people I had communicated with on line for years. You should have seen the looks on their faces when I introduced myself with a big smile on my face. I actually fooled a friend I'd met about 8-9 months earlier. He sneakily cornered my wife and asked what happen to my teeth because when we first met, I had normal teeth. I guess you would have to be there to appreciate it. ............... Jerry (in Tucson)
I can certainly relate to that experience! I broke a front tooth in half back in college when it got hit by a frisbee (long story, and yes, drugs and alcohol were involved A couple decades later, I needed to have the cap replaced, and snapped a picture of myself just after it was removed. I love that picture with the big hole in front, but the wife (and kids) absolutely hates it.
Glad you got a laugh from the graphic… I was just bored and messing around a bit.
I've seen the tail stock steady before. Nice to know where to get one.
