There are 2 types of 34-802. I have a type 2. I think the dust door in the cabinet is the major difference. Mine does not have a dust door, I wish it did. I think dust collection would be better with it.

I’m not sure of the year of the change. Mine is 1989.

The guy I bought mine from spilled Coca Cola into the original 3 hp motor, and replaced it with a 4 hp Leeson. I got an old saw with a new motor, his wife stayed on his case to get a Sawstop.
