They are more like a drawer with an open front. Trimming it would mean takind one of the drawer sides off and cutting the bottom 1/2” and the back 1/2’ and reassembling it. Customer wants all new not a “Cut and Paste” as she says.
She’s not mad now but will be if I bring the recut shelves back I think. They are just made of 1/2 oak plywood. so one sheet at menards will do. 37.50bucks. and some time. She got this “quick shelf” kit from Ron Hazelton’s blog. She did not like the stock shelving kits and wanted custom designed oak shelve to match her cabinets. Won’t loose money on it but won’t make much either. Will never do a “Quick shelf” again.
