Well, I have the original 513 before they came out with the x2 or what ever. Basically same saw. Its 12 years old still works like a charm. Steel frame is robust enough and will handle all needs. Now saying that, I’ve dedicated it for resaw and have the laguna carbide blade on it. Nice blade.

I have a 1934 delta for small curve work.

The features of the laguna big saws are really nice with the ceramic blocks and make blade changes a dream. That was the only downside to the griz or all non laguna is the setup time (I’m a lazy son of a gun).

If it were me and laguna is what you want, I’d go with the bigger LT models but you will pay the $$$$ for that.

I love me some powermatic and have a few of those too. Fit and finish are the tops.

In the end I’d say get the griz set it up for resaw and find an old delta 14” and set it up for small stuff. They are regularly on CL for a decent amount.

Thats my 2 cents worth but that and a buck fifty will get you a cup of coffee. Cheers
