I bought the Hitachi 8 1/4” sliding compound Miter saw back in 1987 and it was dead on accurate. Back then my saw went for $500.00. I still used it to this day. First job I did with this saw is build two gazebos with many compound miters all 99.99% perfect cuts. I like the Hitachi brand. Our son in law bought the 12” and I borrowed it to cut Crown Molding. Nice!!
