I’d venture to say most of the people who have left have done so because they were distressed about some aspect of “community relations”. Either too much politics, or religion, or just too much of folks arguing over various things. Some probably just felt the site got too big to suit their tastes. I have to admit, there was something nice about being a small community back in the days when there were only a couple thousand members.

I can understand it, but it’s still a shame. Some great folks and great woodworkers have moved on. I don’t really understand why anyone would want their projects and comments removed just because they were no longer interested in participating, but I guess that’s their choice.
