RussellAP this was a great post! Very informative and instructional for the ones new to inlay like me. I do have a question. I have a piece of honey locust that I am making a garden bench out of. There is a couple very large inclusions that go all the way through the piece of wood. I am looking at coloring epoxy and using it as an inlay to fill the voids and give the piece a little more character. I am wondering what should I do to fill the voids say at least half way up so I don’t have to use a TON of epoxy? IF you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
