I have a Forrest for crosscutting and a Freud for ripping. The Freud is so smooth that it cuts a perfect glue surface. I never have to joint the ripped edge to glue up a panel.

You get what you pay for. You can find plenty of cheap blades at Lowe’s and Home Depot. I don’t recommend them.
