Of course that was supposed to be a 22 inch x 10 foot log in the above example, mistype, sorry for not proofreading and any confusion. I will try to simplify the math a 1500 lbs log is $750, it should yield 200 bft = $3.75 bft.

I have seen the price for quality Claro walnut and am not saying at all that price is unfair. I am ,like I said, just unfamiliar with “by the pound” as opposed to bft. pricing.
