You didn t read the instructions, those mig guns are the best for holding wood pieces together. You tighten the clamps as tight as you possibly can holding the wood pieces together. Then the mig will lock the clamps so the joints can t ever come apart. And the sparks clean up any saw dust in the shop so You don t even need to sweep the floor at the end of your project. ;-)

Honestly, I think this would actually look pretty cool. I might hit up junk stores for some rusty old C-clamps and try it out.
