What ever happened to expressions like “walk it off”? I have a lot of knowledge I could share—and at times I do—but really, it’s to the point that most aren’t worthy.

Yes, many are little pussy cat’s. Is there a politically correct word for cry babies?

Wood working and blue collarism always comes with a bit of ribbing and sarcasm. I suppose that is one of the rites of passage. You hit your finger with a hammer and the other guy laughs.

I think whining and being thin skinned is an insecurity that is more symptomatic of our society. Many think they deserve a trophy for participating. The family trend now days seems to be hovering moms and emasculated fathers’.

And then on forums it’s about subscriber numbers. The more subscriptions the more advertising dollars. People who don’t play nice get chastised or banned for not playing nice.

There have always been bourgeois dandies who romanticize and want to emulate and dabble in the manual arts, but then there are those who do it not out of choice but necessity.
