Powermatic lathes are pretty much bullet proof. If it looks clean, and if all movable parts slide on the ways, it’s should be good to go. Start it, and listen for any noise. It should be pretty quite except for fan noise on the motor. Other than that, get some help to move it. Be prepared to move it in pieces. Pack the headstock securely if the VFD is attached to it.
You didn’t say what the price is. Care to share that bit? Just nosy.
