Well, for instance, it matters whether your blade tilts left or right. If it’s a right-tilt saw like mine, it’s a pain, since the second cut has the sharp point against the fence, and with the board riding on the table surface, it tends to slip a little way under the fence. Right tilt is easy since it’s on the top and the fence holds it.

I’d imagine there are guys here that deal with that stuff all the time and can give you some good advice. I really can’t, since I hate doing that on my saw, and choose to use a 45º miter router bit instead for the times I need that cut.
