Yet another 490 owner. The only quibble is the fence, which is a bit fiddly to set and should be checked regularly. The straight knives aren’t so difficult to set, and (aside from the fence) the machine has never put a foot wrong in about 8 years. It arrived with a flat deck and had never required adjustment.
