if you can do the byrd head i strongly recommend .i am no longer stuck with dull blades just when i really just want to proceed with my project and not get into changing the blades .changing blades could be said to be easy but for me it was just a hassle that wasn’t always a perfect set-up for what ever reason . has been a few years and yet to change a head . carbide handles paint also .
