You may not have ruined the arbor… I’d try filing down the mushrooming so you can get the bearing off and then test the arbor before ordering a new one. Another way to get the bearing off without a puller is to use a bench vice. Put the jaws of the vice just wide enough for the arbor but not the inner race of the bearing, so the arbor will hang free below. Then use a soft faced mallet, block of wood and a hammer, or whatever you happen to have handy, and drive the shaft down through the bearing. Needless to say, try not to mushroom it again :)

Only other place I’d suggest is the bay, but that is hit or miss most of the time.
