Home-vac to Shop-vac modification

Good day

So, I needed Shop-vac but I don't have the space for all those Hurricanes Typhoons or Cyclones so I was using simple home-vac.
The problem was that the bag got full very quickly and I had to changed them almost once a day.

The modification includes changing of all the hoses to 2" dia to get more airflow and building a two parts box in dimensions that the vac can sit on the box and 4 caster wheels made it easy to move near the tool to reduce the "Duct losses" due to the "Boundary layer" that reduces the air velocity.

The "Pre-filter" is kind of plastic close that is sold for the garden to prevent weed from growing around the trees, very strong, washable, dries within 15 minutes and you can use it many time (I'm using it already more than a year), and I have to change the build-in bag once in 4~5 months.

This vac is "eating" everything and my wife is using it even for the garden.
Another benefit is that it has "speed control" (power control) and I can operate it on lower power for the sanders and alike, that means less noise.

Regards
niki
