Why don’t you post a good clear picture of what’s happening so these guys can see and maybe help you. From what I read, you may be getting the quality cut a bandsaw gives you. You allways have to sand/joint/etc to get a smooth edge. Even a good tablesaw blade leaves a less than desirable surface in some cases. Post a pic.
