I have a Dewalt 735 and like it very much. I’ve found it to be a very useful machine. FYI, the Dewalt 735 has a powerful built in blower. I connect mine directly to a dust collector bag via 4” flexible hose. I use q quick connect on it, so I can quickly unsnap the bag for emptying and storage. It works very well. The bag I got is quite large at around 50 gal. https://www.pennstateind.com/store/BC3-1V.html This setup works very well, no vacuum is needed. Keep in mind the Dewalt 735 is portable, but just barely. It weighs around 90 lbs. So yeah, it’s not a floor standing planer weighing hundreds of pounds, but it’s not something you just throw under the workbench when not in use. I built a rolling storage cabinet for mine. -- Clin |
