Any suggestions on what I should do with it? Should I retooth it for a ripping, as tenon saw? Or keep it as a freehanded miter saw?

Find and buy a miter box in need of a saw? :-)

Sorry, couldn’t resist, but why not? I use my Stanley 150 for most quick miter cuts and like it. Even if I had room to leave a powered miter saw set up all the time, the 150 is much safer, especially for smaller pieces. I did take a 24in Warranted Superior miter saw and cut it down to 20in to use with the box and it’s a great combination. Next step is to make a new handle for the saw.
