So I’m hearing a common thread, if companies steal other peoples efforts, even a picture, well, it’s the internet, so that’s ok. You know there are such things as stock photos that you have to PAY for. And staff photographers that you PAY to have them compose and take pictures for your product. If Jason were someone famous, or a large company, you can bet your ass his lawyers would be on Peachtree for stealing copyrighted images. Seems like to me “just cause it’s on the internet” doesn’t give a company rights to steal it. If they like the picture so much, either hire their own photographer to reproduce a similar image or PAY Jason to use his work. At least ask permission. I mean, I found this copyrighted work on the internet, so, like, it’s ok to steal it right?? Never heard of intellectual property huh?
