Delighted to hear of yet another AC fan out there. I began less than two years ago, just as you are, when I ran across his first book. I was soon hooked, and most of my projects since then have been boxes. My approach is that if one wishes to be guided by the work of another craftsman, why not pick the best. And, I do believe that AC is likely to be the best box maker in the world. There are many fine craftsmen, but I know of no one better, certainly within his general style. Get both books (from Amazon or Alibris). They are different, and even the parts that are duplicated are helpful in explaining a topic more than one way. I have read mine many, many times. So, best of luck, and I look forward to your future posts!
