I took the plunge and bought a Rotex 125. I have been try out different brands of sandpaper. I have had the most success with the Festool brand paper. Has anyone had success with other brands?

The adapter pad and Mirka abranat mesh clogs quickly. Freud and Shopsmith vacuum holes do not match the festool ones. Thank you for any advice you could share.

Do the holes in the Mirka adapter pad match up with the Festool holes? When I got the Mirka adapter I found that in spite of the multitude of holes in the pad, they did not line up with the standard hole pattern for my Bosch sander. I used a hole punch to create more holes using a disk as a pattern. The result works great. The backer pad is holding up perfectly well, even with the additional holes. The Abranet discs do not clog and I have excellent dust collection.
