My truck is almost 20 years old and I got a fiberglass camper top when I got the truck. It’s on the truck most of the time. When I need to remove it I have hook eyes in the floor/ceiling joists that I use to lift it off and drive the truck out without it on.

For long items I attached wood bars with T-tracks that I can attach any fixture. I use it to carry my boats. If you want to see the setup you can look at my project posting.
