Leave it open –
I have a old F150 that I got new long long ago.
I got a topper (Shell) for it, but had a lot of times I needed it off, like when I would do any landscaping/gravel.

It is more of a Pain in the butt than a help.
I think even the fiberglass tonneau covers are a pain.
It is good if you have to put stuff in the back and go in a store, and you want it to still be there upon your return.
That is the only good use. Nice truck btw
