With a mobile base, they are just as movable as a hybrid saw like the one you were looking at – and generally less footprint than a contractor saw with its motor hanging out back. The only time they may get a bit out of hand is when you install a fence with long rails and extension table. But you know your requirements better than anyone else.

PS: I saw a couple of nice C-man contractor saws in your local CL in the $200 range you might want to consider.
