I know you intend for this to be a light hearted conversation but I will comment that I am developing arthritis in the thumb and fingers of my right hand (I’m right handed). It is painful to write (but not type) or hold mug of coffee.

I could take medication to reduce the pain but so far I am resisting that.

So far, it has had little impact on my woodworking other than the fact that I don’t have the gripping strength I used to have.

If I could decide where on my body I wanted to have problems with arthritis, my right hand would have been the absolute last choice.
