The platinum edition Unisaw came out in 1999 IIRC. It was your standard Unisaw, but with a fancy paint job, a 50” Biesemeyer commercial fence (BC50), laminated extension table, two cast iron extension wings, a carbide tipped combination blade and a “personalized” insignia plaque. They also offered a $100 rebate and almost every Delta ad you could find had a picture of Norm on it somewhere :)

That machine does have the Biesemeyer fence on it, although the front rail and guide tube appear to be missing… the Excalibur thing is an over-arm guard, which might be an extra (and appears new/never installed), as one picture shows that the machine already has a Biesemeyer over-arm guard installed. Probably has a disappearing splitter as well, as those usually shipped with the over-arm guard setups. It looks to be in very good shape, well taken care of and other than the front fence rail/tube, mostly complete. I would say $750 is about the ballbark price for a machine in that condition and with those accessories. I wouldn’t worry too much about not being able to see it run… it’s very, very hard to kill those machines, even in a production environment.

PS: The rear fence rail is fine… it’s not used by the fence and is only there to hold stuff up (over-arm guard, extension tables, outfeed tables, etc…). The fence has laminated pads that ride on the table top, not the rear rail.
