Jim, got your PM. Unfortunately I don’t know anything about that jointer specifically. What I can tell in the pictures is that it seems fairly robust and it’s been kept clean & free of rust so you should be able to hit the ground running without having to do any rehab work before hand. I have heard of Transpower machines before and while I don’t think they ever gained much of a market share, it is good to see that it’s made in Taiwan vs. China. It’s likely very similar to others from different manufacturers coming from the same factory which should make wear items like bearings and belts available instead of something proprietary and impossible to source. As for the dust collection, it’s likely something could be fabbed up to fit over or into where it dumps the chips and really wouldn’t have to be very complicate as you’e already got gravity working with you. If you do move on it, post pictures and let us know how it works out for you.
