Thanks AJ,
I’e never looked at or considered the flatness of a dry stone. I usually flatten each stone when I’m done sharpening (still wet) then put it away. I then start sharpening with what I have assumed up to this point is a level stone. I’ll look closer the next time. Question these irregularities on the dry stone, do you let them dry and then flatten them?
