I think you’re wanting to use different stains on the different woods and have two tone furniture not make them match. You just want to make the two pieces match. If that’s the case no problems. The oak dresser will match the oak parts of the crib if you use the same stain and match the grain in the woods, but I would throw some pine in there somewhere so both pieces are a matching set. Staining pine is tricky stuff though
