Depending on table size and bit size you can zip through one pretty fast, but if you’re only interested in how the big boys do it you must have a lot more money than me lol, I’ve done remodeling in lots of old mills through the years, cant name the equipment but its a big ass planer like chisler said. Most commercial factory’s plane it, put it together and call it good. check the high end furniture stores the tables are not flat, At least to a woodworkers specs. So yea they plane the boards then assemble sand if they feel like and finish
