As I understand it as long as you have 12 gauge wire you can put a 20 amp breaker, although either way you’re better with a dedicated circuit for a tablesaw. But like Jim says you’d need to consult an electrician. Re-wiring your basement and redoing a ceiling would considerably increase the cost of the more powerful saw…
