Sorry. This is for a wand spindle so I’m not sure that would work. It’s a fairly thin spindle . It hasn’t been glued to flat flush surfaces but was pinned with a peg first.

My main question is can this be turned together or will the glue interfere with the turning?

Or would I be best off finishing the stick separately and the acrylic topper separately and gluing them at the end so it covers up the ugly glue line.
