I’m a little confused as to what you’re talking about. I’ve never seen an accessory table to use a jig saw as a scroll saw. Are you referring to a jig saw as a small handheld reciprocating saw? Photos of the saw in question may help.
Also, as far as the scroll saw goes, it depends on what scroll saw you buy. Some saws are very quiet, except for when the blade breaks. The only time my Delta SS250 makes much noise at all is when the blade breaks, and that’s just for that second or two between the actual time it breaks and the time I hit the foot switch to stop it. There are some higher end saws that have a feature that allows the upper arm to swing up when the blade breaks, eliminating that noise as well.
