Good points about buying a set to last because they’re not like buying toilet paper. A good set for under $50 sounds reasonable and if it’s going to hold up longer than a roll of tp it’s worth the investment..
The problem I know I’m going to run into is my cheapo screwdrivers will ALWAYS be handy and I’ll never misplace them. The expensive ones on the other hand… I guess that’s just the way my stars are aligned. Maybe I should just take the cheap screwdrivers and grind them down to make nails out of them so I won’t have the temptation to think they’re worth the storage space in my tool chest.
Luckily my kids are grown up and I no longer have them around looking for something to dig in the backyard with and my wife wouldn’t be caught dead with a screwdriver in her hand..
I guess I’ve paid for the right to own at least one decent phillips head screwdriver.. ;)
Thanks for the responses..
