With projects like that I make 10 or 15 at a time, my charge is 40 dollars per hour + materials + tooling
(by tooling I will assign a cost of ware and tear on blades, cost of sand paper, screws ect). Many times
I will only make 15 or 20 dollars an hour, but at least I always make money.

Making one at a time you spend to much time setting up and tearing down your tools. In pricing, remember
you are making one of a kind (even 10 at a clip), this is custom work, if they say they can go to k-mart and
get n exact item for 40 dollars less, let them. It isn’t worth your time to begin with if you only make 5 dollars
an hour.
