I’ve had my Forrest WW2 blade for over 10yrs-it’s been sharpened 3 times. My experience has been that when it becomes hard to push wood through the blade it’s ready for sharpening. I’ve sent mine back to Forrest-they always include a $5 off coupon to help you save money.
You won’t believe how much better it cuts when you get it back.
